Big Milestone

We gave up the ghost and Goose got her very first haircut tonight. She did pretty well. Here is a glimpse at our adventure.

She definitely rocked her mullet-esque hair for long enough. Here is a shot from the waiting area.

When it was our turn, Goose got to pick out which station she wanted to sit at based on the "chair."

She bypassed all of the girly cars and decided on this one. She was perfectly content, she had a new toy to play with. Then, Miss Brandy brought out the cape. That was enough to warrant a sucker. After that, it was smooth sailing.

She took off over 2 inches to cut our little Goose's hair in to a sweet little bob.

Happy Feet kept her attention.

Then the camera proved super exciting.

The end didn't go as smoothly as the rest, so this is the only picture we got at the salon.

However, here are a few I took on my phone when we got home in case you're curious what the end result looked like.

BBQ Weekend

When Daddy got back, he was in the mood for some BBQ. We headed out to our favorite BBQ place in town. Goose got her very own pulled pork kid's meal and looked like an old pro. Here is a snapshot of our lunch.

While Daddy's away...

Daddy headed South on business for a couple of days last week. This mean that Goose and I spent a couple of dinners with Gaga and Papa. I couldn't help but share this picture. We were eating ribs and corn on the cob, but Goose is all about being a big girl right now. She wants to be just like the people she is with. We gave her the corn on the cob, but she would not eat it until she got her handles. It was just adorable!!! (Yes, I know I'm biased!)

Easter

Easter was beautiful in Rock Chalk Land his year. At Gaga and Papa's our little Goose absolutely loved hunting for her Easter basket and then enjoying the goldfish that she found inside.

Then it was off to Nana and Grandpa's for an Easter Egg Hunt. It wasn't long before she spotted her first little egg.

Then, it was time to put it in the basket.
As you can see it took her a while to figure out that she needs to carry the basket.

Once she discovered what was inside she was all over carrying her loot.

She was very proud of her hunting skills.

Then she discovered if Nana held the basket she could get from egg to egg faster.

She must have felt like she was missing something, because it didn't take long for her to start toting her basket along again.

Nana and Grandpa's backyard proved a great place for eggs to hide.

It was time to check out the loot. I think our little Goose is stocked up on Goldfish, batteries and her piggy bank is getting full.

We hope that this Easter season found you enjoying the things in life that matter!
