Cereal

When we were at the doctor the other day, we got the go ahead for cereal. Here are a few snapshots from our first attempt.

Our little Goose wasn't quite sure about the rice cereal at first.

She decided she liked it. If you look closely you can see her bottom lip turned out because I wasn't getting another spoonful to her fast enough.

I wasn't sure how she would like it so I didn't make very much at first. I had to make more because she ate so well. Here are a few pics of her entertaining herself while she waited.

Apparently, she thought she would see what her world looked like with a purple tint :c)

A+ from the doctor

We went for our 4 month check up today. Goose is 25.5 in long already (that's taller than 95% of her peers) and 13 lbs 13 oz (50th percentile). Guess she got her daddy's genes. At least I'm hoping she did. :c) We did get the okay to start cereal. I'll post pictures after we try it. I think I might give her the night to recuperate before starting it.

New Trick

She rolled over (back to tummy) :c) We aren't quite at the point where she can do it on command yet, but once we get there I'll post it for anyone who cares to see. It was an exciting day for us because she sleeps much better on her tummy than her back. Maybe she will sleep for longer now.

We gave in...

After much prodding we decided it was time. There are lots of people looking for pictures of Goose and as much as she is changing we thought this would be easiest. Bear with me as I get used to posting I am sure there will not be regular posts, but I will do my best.

Baptism - October 3
Yes. That is my Baptismal gown. Some might call it old. I call it sentimental :c)

Father Anthony couldn't wait to hold our little baby after the sacrament.

Goose is happy with Papa at the reception following her Baptism.

Discovering my hands. I don't remember when she first discovered them, but she is quite proud of her new skills. She is so proud, she laughs and then hides. Very comical if you ask me.

Halloween - The Bumbo is one of the coolest baby gear items I've found. Goose is such a big girl. She can sit on her own in it.

Our little pumpkin. Not real sure if she likes her costume yet, but she's getting used to it.

Trick or Treating at Grams and Papa's house. Oh my do they spoil her. She laughs and they just eat it up.

Is 3 months too young for popcorn? She really seems to want some. (No, I didn't actually give her any.) But, she was quite determined to hold on to the bowl with me.

Jayhawk Basketball. Daddy was oh so excited. Lucy sat and watched briefly.
