Catching up...
So it's been a long time. I didn't realize just how long. We have not fallen off the face of the Earth. Here is a peek at what we've been up to.
Our little Goose woke up one morning and decided that she didn't want to wear diapers anymore. So, much of November and December she spent running around like this. She is quite proud of her big girl panties.
We had breakfast with Santa after Church one morning. You can see our little Goose wasn't thrilled with the idea of the jolly big guy.
We took a trip to see Daddy's Grandma at the end of December. Goose loved the tree in the hotel lobby.
Goose went on lots of field trips with her friends from daycare. I'm so grateful that they take pictures so that we can get a glimpse of what she does each day. This was a day at Funland where she could pretend to be many different things. Including a patient in a dentist office, and a lifeguard.
We got lots of snow at the end of February. Goose wasn't a huge fan, but she was willing to get out and give it a little bit of a chance. Here is a picture from our back door the first day.
We did some sledding a few days later. Here are just a couple of pics.

Sorry it's been so long. I will try and be better in the months to come.

Halloween
I thought it was going to be a pretty low-key Halloween at our house. Goose is potty-training, so we were going to stop by Nana and Grandpa's and Gaga and Papa's and come home to hand out candy.
Halloween Eve was awesome! We carved pumpkins and watched our beloved Jayhawks win their first basketball game of the season.
Boy did I have Wednesday pegged all wrong. Goose experienced trick-or-treating for the first time at daycare on Wednesday.
Here are a few pictures as they trick-or-treated through the school district office.
She got the trick or treat thing figured out. She quickly discovered that candy was a really special treat. Then she played hard to work off some of that sugar prior to nap.
After nap time, it was back to the Halloween celebration.
When I picked our little Goose up, we went to see the grandparents. Then we came home and snapped some pictures of our little Minnie Mouse prior to visiting a few of our kind neighbors for more candy.
A peek at the decorating job Daddy did for all of our trick-or-treating neighbors.
Field Trips
Goose went on lots of field trips this month at daycare. We are so grateful that they share pictures so we can see glimpses of what our little one was up to while we were at work.
Please excuse the blurry iPhone photo, but she went bowling!

This is apparently one of the few photos where she is actually watching what happened after she threw the ball.
The next week they went to the pumpkin patch. And she got to experience the barrel train. She was not real sure at first.
Then they got to climb the hay bales to the giant slide.
And finally they each picked out their very own pumpkin!
Omaha Zoo
Daddy turned 30 at the beginning of October and for his birthday, we took a trip to Omaha to explore their amazing Zoo. We had a fantastic day!
They were swinging throughout the building on these awesome vines. Goose decided to take a swing at what it would be like.
Off to the outdoor animals. Goose seemed to enjoy the walk.
We did lots of walking! Thank Goodness for the stroller. And the great swingset they had for the kids to play on.
Our little Goose was rather timid of the goats. She didn't particularly want to be in the petting zoo. But we gave it a try.
It was chilly, but that zoo is absolutely fantastic. We got to hang around with the monkeys in their natural habitat.
